Unhallowed Art

Breathlessly he calls to me.
Tireless trance,
I will not free.
On the brink and pale of cheek,
coerced to spark
this unhallowed art.
Flip the switch to spirit near animas.
Throw your last chance to the wind,
to be unfollowed again.
The secret only I possess,
profane gallery of unrest.
Staring me down, no reply.
Cannot bear meeting its eye.

Animas

One on a lonely road, walks in fear and dread.Having once turned ‘round walks on, turns no more his head. Mind racing, conscience weighing. Because he knows a frightful fiend, close behind him tread.
The midnight labors he reaped, poison his sleep. He knows the wicked never rest, more than a blink while their sins, tread the earth. Animas kept, out of sight out of mind. Run, for all he’s worth. May his secret fade in the sight of his shrine.

Jewel

Weightless he runs to dusk. Caught up in the bloom of playful youth. Little did he know on this soft hill he’d take his last breath. Print on his neck, cue the bells. Do yellow eyes lurk near?
Transient (transient), heart misled (heart misled), no intent. Not a soul he could befriend (could befriend), could lament (could lament), hushed resent (desire misled, hushed resent).
Fill this dim sky with eyes, mark the ground. Could the disregard (to spark) a lifeless frame be our end? Could it be animas? Leave (no stone) unturned for the jewel.
Hapless she rests, shy and bright eyed to be shaken rudely awake. Happens that it wasn’t the recognition of her face. Summoned for holding the jewel. Won’t be the first or the last.
Could he be ripped to the surface, disturbed of his peace, accused of foul theft of a life, by a thief.
Transient (transient), heart misled (heart misled), no intent (desire misled, no intent).
chorus: Fill this dim sky with eyes, mark the ground. Could the disregard (to spark) a lifeless frame be our end? Could it be animas, close behind you he treads? To the end of the earth (desire misled, no intent). Not a soul he could befriend, could lament, hushed resent (desire misled, hushed resent).
